The Social Marketing Specialist will report directly into the Sr. Interactive Marketing Manager and will be responsible for the dissemination of key product messaging across all relevant corporate websites, social marketing, media, and professional networking channels. Craft messages and determine positioning for an online audience, and be responsible for ensuring that all content is represented across all relevant channels in order to increase brand awareness, evolve brand perception, and ultimately positively impact all customer retention and acquisition efforts. Assume lead role in training other members of the organization on how to use social media channels, internal marketing platforms and inbound marketing best practices to improve all marketing and sales efforts company wide.
Undergraduate degree from a four year college or university (business, marketing, or information systems preferred)
3 ? 5 years experience managing web content for a multi-product organization (BSB and/or tech preferred
1+ years of experience with social marketing and professional networking channels in a B2B marketing environment with experience in high-tech preferred.
Ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into high-level business concepts
Experience with (or ability to quickly learn) multiple content and data management platforms (Salesforce, Silverpop, Ektron experience preferred)
Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
Ability to work autonomously and in a self-directed manner and manage multiple ongoing projects
Attention to detail and an eye for quality
Very strong creative writing skills
Experience building and managing website content and user experience
Experience with the lead nurture and conversion processes
Comfort working with online content management and database platforms (Ektron, Wordpress, SFDC, and SilverPop preferred)
Demonstrated experience developing, managing, and increasing customer and prospect adoption of various social networking sites and corporate blog sites
Ability to identify where and how our target market consumes information via online sites and then deliver SafeNet?s core messaging to our audience through these channel
Ability to identify and embrace new and emerging technologies related to inbound marketing including but not limited to web content, interactive tools, social marketing and professional networking
Experience building and managing a successful SEO improvement program
Experience improving website conversion funnels for lead generation
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for ensuring all content on the corporate website is relevant, up-to-date, presented effectively, and optimized for the lead generation process.
Execute global SEO strategy by defining and managing keywords, content optimization, and back link building.
Manage global content localization process for the pages responsible for maintaining.
Improve the appearance and accuracy of the web content but will improve the visitor to lead conversions for the respective business unit.
Creative Content Creation
Based on established key messages, positioning and differentiators will develop content to include both business thought-leadership messages on all digital platforms. This will include the corporate website, microsites, and prioritized social marketing and professional networking communities including but not limited to Blogs, LinkedIn (group discussions), SlideShare, Twitter, Facebook, Videosites, and other identified platforms
Interactive Tool Development
Responsible for leading the effort to introduce new and innovative online marketing tools, both on our various sites and as standalone tools for marketing programs
Responsible for the ongoing management of content disseminated across our various social media communities, including but not limited to, blogs, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, and Facebook
Responsible for reporting metrics to gauge the effectiveness of our company?s web presence, PPC activities, SEO progress, website lead funnel conversion, social marketing, and professional networking activities
Responsible for helping to build training programs for key members of the team on how best practices for using Ektron, Silverpop, and social media in their day to day work responsibilities.
