Dog Catcher (Boring Corporate Title: Online Acquisition Marketing Manager)
This is one of the most critical positions to Rover?s sustained success. The DC/OAMM drives the strategy and execution for new customer acquisition through major direct channels, including, but not limited to, SEM, paid social, affiliate and referral. You are the perfect balance of analytical and creative. You are solidly grounded in experimentation design and analysis. Yet, your co-workers say you?re a wiz when it comes to innovative tests, segmenting audiences and exploiting inefficiencies and loopholes to drive ROI. Expertise with Google Analytics Campaign Tracking, Excel and SQL is a must, PowerPivot is a major plus. Qualified candidates will have 4+ years of online direct marketing experience.
Dog Warden (Boring Corporate Title: City General Manager)
The City General Manager at Rover is by far the most exciting position Rover has to offer. As the leader of Rover in each city, the GM completely owns the development and growth of our business a major U.S city. As the city lead, you?ll be solely responsible for operational excellence and maintaining ?Rover? sitter quality, coverage and repeat usage. Local marketing, supply management, service quality management, social media, PR ? all of these sit under the GM. It?s the all-star combination of the analytical with the creative that makes a Rover GM successful. Excellent candidates will have 6+ years of marketing or operations management experience.
The Hound Dog (Boring Corporate Title: Marketing Analyst)
Curious like a dead cat. Crafty like a fox. Slicing and dicing data like The Swedish Chef. The Hound Dog helps us understand our data by being an expert analyst. Expertise with Excel, SQL, web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, KissMetrics and MixPanel) are a must. Familiarity with statistical methods is a must and expertise with tools (such as Saas and R) are major plus. Qualified candidates will have 4+ years of analytical experience, preferably for a consumer-facing web site.
