We are currently seeking an Operations Account Manager.
The Account Operations Management group at DDN is responsible for managing the operations execution with DDN?s OEMs and major direct accounts. The team partners with our WW channel sales will work to ensure that DDN?s products are delivered with excellence through a variety of OEM and channel programs. This position is a high impact, high visibility role, and requires developing lasting business relationships that drive business results and enable DDN revenue growth.
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
Provide exemplary service, ensuring the best customer/partner experience.
Effectively represent the voice of the customer across multiple departments within DDN.
Ensure customer/partner readiness for the deployment of complex operations programs.
Identify and implement operational improvements that yield business benefits for DDN and our customers/partners.
Builds and maintains OEM / major account relationshipsAssists with and or designs and implements customer solutionsCoordinates day-to-day activities.
Liaison between customer and Operations.
Seeks additional opportunities to provide value-added services.
Performs as team leader and/or project manager, developing project plans, assembling resources, monitoring tactical progress ensuring work completed on time and according to customer expectations.
Support transition process during implementation phase and help close all open deliverables on both sides.
Ongoing account operations management, responsible for the overall success of the customer engagement. This includes but is not limited to setting up, running and managing regular formal reviews.
Establishing and managing key customer-focused metrics including OTD to commit and request and reporting the same on a regular predetermined schedule.
Escalation for any issues that require immediate closure.
Implement key customer strategic initiatives as needed.
Engage with channel sales or external representatives to develop prospects and provide ongoing sales support for additional and new business opportunities and to profile customers.
Qualifications for this role are:
6+ years of work experience in an operations environment involving OEM, account management, or customer service
4+ years of experience in an Account Management and/or Operations role preferably in the Storage or High Tech industry BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
Customer relationship management including outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsIssue management, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
Extensive impact and influence skills, including cross-functional collaboration.
Confidence in self and organization, and a ?can-do? attitude in the face of change and ambiguity.
Strong leadership skills, applicable at the senior management level, across the world, and within both DDN and our OEM customers.
Analytical problem solving skills and ability to identify essential issues in complex technical and business problems within the storage / systems integration industry.
Highly self-motivated and able to work effectively with virtual teams of diverse background.
Project management proficiency; planning and organization skills.
Demonstrated excellence in thought leadership and execution management.
Demonstrated excellence in managing business relationships.
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority.
Strong understanding of the systems integration industry and OEM business models.
Prioritize to meet multiple deadlines.
Must be able to operate in an ambiguous environment.
