Summary
Under general supervision and some review of work in progress, this position provides financial operations support to clients by reconciling and tracking financial transactions and interfacing with internal WageWorks Account Service Managers to resolve inquiries for the Health Care, COBRA, Direct Billing and Commuter product lines. This includes reconciliation, billing and participating in the development of work procedures and implementation of process improvement efficiencies.
Essential responsibilities for the position include the following:
1. Generates necessary reports and spreadsheets to complete reconcilement packages and deliver according to client requirements and schedule.
2. Performs account reconciliation in aggregate by client for full accounting to credits, debits and adjustments delivered to the Finance department, according to established deadlines.
3. Assists in client invoicing
4. Generates reporting and provides monthly volumes for transaction and administrative fee invoicing via the Finance department.
5. Resolves all client inquiries and production discrepancies to meet operational deadlines and achieve client driven satisfaction.
6. Interacts with IT, Product Development and Project Management to ensure operational processes are executed for each product accurately and efficiently as scheduled, modifying and updating procedural arrangements as necessary.
Essential knowledge, skills and abilities include:
1. A knowledge of business, finance and accounting as normally obtained through an Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
2. 3-5 years of general work experience and a minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience performing accounting activities preferred
3. Ability to plan and execute multiple tasks/projects simultaneously in an organized professional manner
4. Knowledge of Pre-tax benefits, Payroll, Accounting Software, and Treasury Service products is preferred
5. Ability to utilize software to perform work and accomplish workflow efficiencies
6. Superior attention to detail and the ability to perform work that is detailed and routine is necessary
7. Incumbents must have proficient skills and abilities with a personal computer. Good knowledge, understanding and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with Outlook, Excel and Word are strongly preferred
