Job Qualifications:
The operations analyst will model the mission effectiveness of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) systems and drive system designs based on mission performance.
Specific Responsibilities:
? Model integrated payload performance (EO/IR, SAR, communications) and aircraft flight dynamics
? Generate relevant mission scenarios
? Produced DODAF products (i.e. OV-1)
? Assess integrated system performance against targets in a threat environment
? Effective time on station modeling
? Define system architectures conducive to payload control and data management
? Assess tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination methods and effectiveness
? Brief customers on mission systems
? Support business development through customer technical meetings and writing proposals
? Link customer interests with system solutions
? Survey and select payload suites, communication systems, and exploitation tools for new systems
? Actively seek out mission system suppliers and keep abreast of emerging payloads
Minimum Requirements:
? Preferably MS or PhD in engineering field, Aerospace engineering degree preferred
? 3 yrs experience in defense industry or military or higher clearance
? Knowledge of operations analysis tools such as Satellite Tool Kit
? Knowledge of link budget analysis
? Knowledge of aircraft flight dynamics and sensor performance physics
? Software programming capabilities (Matlab, programming languages, etc.)
? Ability to generate professional briefings
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Familiarity with operational ISR systems
