We are seeking the unique combination of technical wizardry and an interactive, affable personality to effectively interact with clients. Build and test motion capture systems. Travel to client sites, set up the systems and train the customer.Responsibilities include:
Efficiently & meticulously build cameras, computers and calibration
instruments. Quality assurance and testing of both hardware and software. Receive, inspect and track inventory; Ship system components
Travel to customer site, interface with clients, and do the installation
Lead on-site training sessions; provide technical support for customers
REQUIREMENTS:
College Degree
Experience troubleshooting and building computers, installing
Operating Systems and debugging hardware.
Know your way around a screwdriver; not afraid of some good-old-fashioned manufacturing.
2+ years experience in a fast-paced work environment.
Excellent communication skills to lead training sessions.
Experience building computers or manufacturing high-tech equipment.
Knowledge of how to handle electronics.
Technically competent, both mechanically and with various software
Basic networking knowledge; high interest in expanding
manufacturing/computer knowledge.
Highly organized and efficient; Ability to multi-task, prioritize and
support each client.
Strong attention to detail; Flexible to work odd hours & travel (40-50).
Self-motivated, independent worker with excellent problem-solving skills
PLUSES: Basic programming in Visual Studio; experience with motion capture; Knowledge of animation, 3d modeling programs; biomechanics / biokinematics.
