POSITION: Operations Associate
LOCATION: Seattle, WA
THIS POSITION HAS A 4AM START TIME TO COVER THE EAST COAST. ONLY THOSE CANDIDATES ABLE TO WORK A NONTRADITIONAL WORKING SCHEDULE SHOULD APPLY.
The Operations Associate is responsible for reconciling portfolios, trade postings, performance calculations and reporting, and other special projects as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Become highly proficient with using Portfolio Center, Tamarac Advisor and Advisor View
? Reconcile client portfolios against custody statements
? Resolve variances in a timely manner
? Assist in the automation of the reconciliation process
? Trade Posting
? Security Maintenance
? Performance calculations and reporting
? Corporate Actions
? New Accounts
? Custodian Interface
? Broker Interface
? Maintain written procedures
? Maintain client records and files
? Client interaction/Client servicing
? Internal and external Reporting
QUALIFICATIONS:
? College Degree (Finance, Financial Planning, or Accounting degree preferred)
? 2+ years experience in a financial services atmosphere, specifically the registered advisory, brokerage or financial services industry
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs required. Familiarity with Portfolio Center, Advent or other accounting software a plus
? Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
? Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
? Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
? Self-starter with strong leadership skills
? Ability to act as a fiduciary for our customers. Must be flexible, reliable, trustworthy, and absolutely confidential with all matters
