Operations Engineer Flurry

We have a solid team and are looking to add another talented Operations Engineer to help scale hundreds of servers, drive thousands of terabytes of data.
Help us build and maintain all of the systems necessary to support Flurry?s explosive growth and will work with a world-class engineering team that understands and appreciates everything you bring to the table!
You will also have the opportunity to work on applications and services for iPhones and other mobile platforms.
Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and maintain systems to deliver high-volume, 24/7 web/software services
Software and hardware needs analysis, installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting
Network and application monitoring and security.
Automate processes and tasks (e.g, maintenance, release management, and application testing)
Participate in 24x7 on-call support and occasional off-hours maintenance.
Requirements:
Excellent technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Scripting/programming in at least one administrative language (Perl, Ruby, Python, Shell, etc.)
Experience with web, java webapps, database setup and management
Good understanding of Linux/Unix fundamentals, particularly RHEL/Centos.
Some understanding of networking hardware, software, and protocols
Able to lift equipment and boxes of up to 50 pounds
Desirable:
Familiarity with CVS, SVN, or other version control system
Experience with VPN, DNS, SMTP, NFS, RAID, cron
Experience with MySQL, load-balancing, SNMP, LDAP, iptables
Experience designing/administering/programming large-scale distributed systems is a huge, mind-boggling plus.
