We are looking for a full-time college student to support our growing Operations team with office and corporate apartment facilities management. This is a paid internship and the rate is $8.00 per hour. We will complete any required documentation or paperwork to earn internship credit for school. We ask that candidates would be able to work about 20-25 hours per week.
Perform basic maintenance, diagnostic, move and repair work at the corporate office and corporate apartments. Schedule and oversee contractors if appropriate.
Perform a weekly schedule of corporate apartment and vehicle inspections, including associated tasks and errands for our international employee exchange program.
Coordinate with travel department on employee arrivals and departures from the corporate apartment.
Assemble, disassemble and move furniture at the office and corporate apartment as needed.
Schedule and take corporate vehicles for inspections, maintenance, service or repair.
Schedule and assist Operations Manager with weekly exchange program orientations and meetings.
Maintain catalog and inventory of facilities equipment, such as keys, corporate cell phones, access cards, etc.
Maintain and update corporate apartment documents such as inspection guide and exchange handbooks.
Assist with scheduling and project coordination for upcoming HQ relocation.
Perform other small operations and facilities tasks as needed.
Full time student with flexible class schedule
Capable of using basic MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
Must have valid driver's license
Must have access to own automobile and be willing to commute to office and other locations in the Tysons Corner area
The ideal candidate will be able to work 30-40 hours per week during the summer and continue through the school year at 15 to 25 hours per week
Long term career interest in Operations or Facilities is preferred
Prior office experience preferred (but not required)
