Together we have 116 retail imaging centers, 128 mobile units and operate in more than thirty states. Our organization will serve nearly a million patients in 2013, offering a wide range of screening, diagnostic and interventional procedures that complement each community?s needs, in collaboration with radiologists, healthcare providers, hospitals and health systems.
We currently have an attractive opportunity for an Operations Manager- Mobile, Midwest/South Central US.
Under general direction, perform a broad variety of managerial functions to direct site or asset operations. Ensure the delivery of quality patient care and customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
?Lead, assign and coordinate work performed by direct reports. Evaluate work for acceptability and compliance with company safety, quality, and productivity standards.
?Coordinate and accommodate any necessary schedule revisions. Strive to maintain minimal rescheduling and cancellation rates, and meet productivity standards through proper direction, scheduling and staff certification.
?Train employees regarding company procedures, safety, quality and productivity standards.
?Recruit, interview, select, train, supervise and evaluate employees and recommend staffing and personnel changes. Conduct regular meetings, schedule staff for coverage, approve time reports to meet payroll deadlines and administer performance reviews.
?Ensure that all staff are properly licensed and certified in accordance with company, state and federal requirements.
?Develop and administer written protocols ensuring all procedures meet required standards. Ensure all policy and procedure manuals are up to date and followed by all site personnel.
?Ensure compliance of safety standards such as OSHA, radiation safety (where applicable), standard precautions and infection control policies.
?Establish and maintain effective working relations with referring physicians, radiologists, patients and hospital administration (where applicable). Also, maintain working relations with regional and corporate personnel.
?Research and resolve issues or complaints with regard to patients, customers, referring physicians and their staff.
?Oversee and order all technical and non-technical supplies for the site. Work with appropriate vendors to guarantee quality and cost effectiveness. Ensure an adequate inventory is maintained.
?Oversee and maintain the physical plant, whether mobile asset or fixed office sites. Communicate with appropriate service and maintenance vendors.
?Participate in the development of budget and review of financial statements in order to meet revenue, expense and profit goals.
?Prepare and review reports including productivity summaries, referring physician reports and other information helpful in evaluating trends in the business.
?Assist federal and state inspectors in completing regulatory compliance inspections and resolving problems (where applicable).
?Work with regional, corporate and marketing personnel to secure new business, site marketing, special projects and business development.
?Perform the essential functions of an MRI technologist position when required to perform diagnostic services.
?Monitor and administer patient injections to ensure compliance with site federal and state regulations and quality assurance standards (where applicable).
?Ensure that all procedures are performed with regard to patient?s age, condition or special requirements.
?Comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, the company?s policies and procedures, and the company?s Code of Conduct.
?Perform other projects/tasks, as requested by the Company.

?Communicate effectively with staff, management, vendors, contractors, healthcare representatives, government regulators and external customers.
?Select, train, coordinate, supervise and evaluate the work of employees.
?Maintain patient privacy and the confidentiality of patient records.
?Capable of maintaining basic life support (CPR).
?Set up, adjust and operate medical laboratory testing equipment.
?Plan, establish and evaluate the attainment of departmental goals and objectives.
?Verify, copy, fax and distribute documents and reports.
?Maintain supplies to budgeted levels.
?Understand and follow specifications and instructions.
?Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies.
?ARRT registry in main modality
?State license (where applicable).
?Minimum 3 years prior experience.
?Valid Driver?s License
?Prior supervisory experience preferred.
?AA Degree in Radiologic Technology, Bachelor?s degree in related field preferred.
?Venipuncture training (where applicable)
?MRI and/or ARRT Certification
?Ability to work extended hours and travel on company business as required.
?May require extensive driving to mobile locations.
?After hours availability may be required on an on-call basis.
?Continued employment is contingent on submitting to and successfully passing certain background checks or drug screens as required by client facilities.
