Develop and manage the strategic and operational plans to ensure the Company has the appropriate resources to support current forecasted business and strategic growth; to communicate resource requirements to senior management and develop staff to accommodate scheduling demands.
Minimum ten years operational management with at least five years in semiconductor manufacturing, including assembly, test, and outsourced wafer fabrication.
Direct the process which includes the planning of procurement, production, inventory control and distribution.
Determine the requirements to meet sales demand and purchase needed materials for manufacturing.
Anticipate and minimize the impact of supply shortages.
Plan and schedule work to meet customer commitments.
Plan inventory requirements to support strategic, controlled growth.
Balance new product requirements with production needs to ensure OTD for both.
Direct and coordinate all activities between sales, purchasing, manufacturing and inventory distribution.
Develop plans and manage process transfers between external and internal suppliers providing project schedule with key milestones.
Track and report on those project milestones; providing frequent status reports to senior management.
Drive cost reduction projects for both out-sourced partners and supply chain, yield improvements and operational efficiencies.
Ability to communicate effectively the needs and objectives to suppliers as well as key personnel across all areas of the company including engineering, operations, finance, sales and marketing.
Ability to present technical information to both internal and external teams and customers.
Maintain and continually strengthen vendor relationships to keep services and materials running smoothly.
Ability to manage the disruptions as they occur within the supply chain.
Track and monitor supplier yields and other operations performance metrics and performance to the plan.
Achieve operational objectives through contributions and recommendations to strategic plans.
Ongoing monitoring of suppliers and production lines to improve cost and efficiency.
Develop cost savings initiatives within the supply chain while sourcing alternative and second source suppliers. Coordinate supplier activities to meet sales demand.
Maintain and improve Assembly/Test OTD and Product Yields.
Provide ongoing and detailed analysis of capacity and constraints. Proactively anticipate needs in every area and develop the means to improve capacity when necessary based on sales demand.
Streamline material movement and increase inventory accuracy while reducing material losses. Determine material to be used for assembly builds that will yield optimal results.
Demonstrated team building skills combined with fostering the development, training and cross training of employees to allow them to meet and achieve the operational objectives of the company.
Proven ability to manage and motivate diverse population to build a cohesive team.
Maintains the highest ethical and professional standards.
Experience working within an ISO certified process.
BS in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering and 10 years semiconductor manufacturing experience; or
Bachelor of Science in Business or Operational Management and 10 years experience in RF semiconductor manufacturing; or
Four-year college degree in a related discipline or a technical field with 10 years experience in RF semiconductor manufacturing.
