Operations Manager Tea Living

Ensure operational excellence in the servicing of all customer orders and physical flow of inventory. Manage all aspects
of inbound logistics and operations from factory to customer.
? Act as the main liaison with the 3rd party warehouse: manage communication, provide workload projections,
review invoices. Actively work with 3PL for process improvement.
? Partner with manager to create strategic direction for fulfillment and freight management (inbound and outbound).
? Work with 3PL and Tea inventory management to ensure data integrity and minimize shrink.
? Partner with Tea MIS to manage data flows between selected systems (Blue Cherry, MAS, Speed Order, and
GXS). Troubleshooting as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, as well as long-term process
? Continuous improvement projects to drive efficiencies across all elements of operations.
? Creation/ maintenance of all vendor compliance manuals and routing guides.
? Oversee management of all order entry (Boutique upload and EDI), and all vendor compliance.
? Oversee management of all inbound logistics and receiving process.
? Act as liaison with freight forwarders, and review costs seasonally to reallocate business as needed.
? Communicate out to other departments as needed.
? Management and development of Tea Operations Team.
? Bachelor's degree in economics, finance or business management, or equivalent experience.
? Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools.
? Working knowledge of apparel/retail industry, and understanding of key performance indicators.
? Data driven approach to problem solving, and ability to partner with all stakeholders to drive results.
? Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and expertise in distilling and communicating key messages
and insights from large data sets.
? Ability to manage and motivate direct reports.
