The Operations Manager (OM) has financial and operational responsibility for a Hub location and all affiliated Service Centers through a staff of Fleet Managers, Dispatchers, and Coordinators. The OM will focus fleet and fulfillment activities to deliver client satisfaction while controlling operating expense and maximizing service related margin.The Operations Manager:
Develops and manages operating budgets and asset strategy
Provides monthly financial and activity forecasts
Ensures effective execution of the order fulfillment process
Provides leadership, direction, training, and performance management for all Operations employees to ensure profitable fleet and inventory management and timely, accurate administration of the billing, lease, and accounts payable processes
Teams with Sales Management to support sales activity, productivity, and cost reduction
Ensures compliance with ModSpace policies, procedures, and processes as well as safety, environmental or OSHA regulations

A successful candidate:
Holds a bachelor?s degree (in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Marketing, or Engineering) or has a minimum of 7 years experience (in operations or construction/fleet/facilities management)
Has a minimum of 3 years department/site P&L and people management experience
Is an inclusive leadership style driving employee development and empowerment
Has excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Has a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time to meet deadlines
Is PC proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Has a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and high volume workload
Holds a valid driver?s license
Is able to travel up to 40% of the time including overnight travel
Has a High School Diploma or GED - preferred
Has a Bachelor's degree - preferred
