Operations Program Manager 24/7 Customer

We are looking for a driven, proactive, highly motivated leader who can facilitate technical design and implementation discussions with an understanding of the underlying fundamental technologies and impacts to operations infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will leverage their project management, operations and infrastructure backgrounds to manage matrix teams through design, development and implementation of new capabilities in a highly-available operational environment. Also, having the ability to effectively lead and influence cross-functional, teams in an evolving and often ambiguous environment is essential.
Partner closely with product groups to understand business requirements, provide input on operational requirements for incorporation back into product specifications and plan for timely delivery of a service.
Establish and maintain the project vision, scope, schedule, budget, and resource plan
Manage multiple large projects within a discipline that meet the requirements of individual product teams while being mindful of operational requirements, overall business direction, business strategy, and regulatory compliance.
Work with stakeholders to understand to help establish business priorities and work with team leads on prioritization with other efforts.
Possess a general understanding of design impacts around compliance requirements (PCI, ISO, etc.) and be able to escalate areas of concern back to the product teams, stakeholders, and information security team.
Develop schedules, create a sense of urgency as appropriate, and drive infrastructure deployment efforts to meet business requirements and timelines.
Proactively manage issues and risks at the project and program level, and employ appropriate mitigation strategies.
Establish regular communications with project stakeholders and escalate the issues and risks appropriately.
Produce written communications (Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Excel etc.) necessary to help evangelize the overall business objective of the program to any and all stakeholders
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills are a must
Basic understanding of: computer networking, application stacks, server virtualization, cloud computing, software as a service, infosec, regulatory compliance (PCI, SOC3, SAS 70)
Analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
Overseeing several, simultaneous very large cross-functional and cross organizational projects/programs
Familiar with PMI concepts and terminology, agile and waterfall methodologies
Working knowledge of Puppet, Chef, Openstack technologies is a plus
7+ years of experience leading programs for a highly-technical operations organization
7+ year of Operational Project management experience for a highly-reliable, 24x7 service
Demonstrates a strong program/project management background including problem resolution, and decision-making skills required.
B.A./B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
