Position Summary
The Operations Supervisor primary responsibility will be ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently, optimizing productivity while addressing any issue that may arise while processing transactions, maintain product security, receiving and shipping product, training team members, as well as supervising regular team members and seasonal contract workers. Other duties may be added going forward as the business grows and changes. The position requires strong computer and internet research skills. This person will report to the Operations Manager.
Position located in Denver, Colorado.
Duties and Responsibilities
Team supervision
Shipping and receiving
10 key data input
Product verification
Inventory management: implementing controls and audits
Implementing company policies and procedures
Maintaining facility and inventory security at all times
Produce, track and report production metrics
Job Requirements
At least three years directly supervising and working with small teams of up to twenty people.
The position requires strong computer and internet research skills
Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates - Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships - Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
Time Pressure - Able to handle time sensitive situations and meet critical time deadlines.
Stress Tolerance - Job requires accepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high stress situations.
Adaptability/Flexibility - Job requires being open to change (positive or negative) and to considerable variety in the workplace.
Able to sit and stand approximately 50% of the time in equal amounts.
Attention to detail and able to shift priorities as needed.
Able to work independently and unsupervised as necessary, able to think on your feet.
Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
Must have open availability and flexible to work any day to support the operation. Some weekend work is required .
Proven problem solver comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
