The Operator I, Cell Culture Automation is responsible for aseptic sealing of multi-well plate (MWP) cell culture product, both manual and automated.
Responsibilities
Operates, understands, applies and enforces the sealing equipment?s operation, safety and maintenance procedures as defined by organizations QSOPs and SOPs.
Maintains aseptic techniques while performing job responsibilities.
Performs all the requirements of an Assembler, Cell Culture Automation
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Organization Relationships
Reports directly to Lead Operator, Cell Culture Automation
If serving the function of an Assembler, position will report to Lead Assembler for job duties
During Operator I rotation (when the employee is not responsible for operating the sealing equipment), this position performs the responsibilities of an assembler.
The position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements:
Education and Training
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical Requirements
Performs and understands all responsibilities and skills required by Assembler, Cell Culture
Understands, applies and enforces the appropriate PPE required for job responsibilities.
Experience and Skills
Experience in a manufacturing setting, preferred
Experience operating manufacturing equipment, preferred
Excellent organizational skill and attention for detail needed
Excellent understanding of teamwork and cooperation skills needed
Physical Requirements
Must have ability to sit, stand and bend without constraints
Must have unrestricted use of wrists and hands
Must be able to lift 20lbs from above head without issue
Must have excellent dexterity.
