About the Job
As an Operator Services Representative, your primary responsibility will be to respond to a high volume of customer contacts requesting for operator assistance. The Operator Services Representative will be required to quickly analyze customer needs and provide exceptional customer service while working quickly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be action oriented, customer focused, a quick learner, and able to build peer relationships to work effectively as a member of a team.
Provide callers with relevant, accurate information.
Efficiently use search tools to complete 411 look-ups for residential, business and international listings.
Maintain customer's contact list and other phone features or services.
Accurately manage customer?s phonebooks by adding, removing or editing entries.
Connecting customers to existing contacts entries in their cell phone contact list or transfer calls to a requested phone number.
Add, remove, edit & support value added services such as My Calendar entries and My World options.
Continually maintain a basic knowledge of all of the company products, services and policies.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
May also assist with locating miscellaneous information.
Handling emergency and international calls/dialing.
Maintaining a customer focus by listening actively and maintaining composure.
Adhere to schedules and manage time effectively to achieve monthly and quarterly performance goals.
Demonstrate high standards of professionalism and integrity by consistently adhering to the Company?s Policies at all times as a representative of the Company.
Perform other job duties as assigned by leadership and management.
Exhibit flexibility and willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays to meet business needs.
Education: Minimum of High School Diploma, some college preferred
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of inbound call center experience.
Education: AA Degree in Business or related field
One (1) year of experience in customer service.
Prefer (1) years of experience within wireless or telecommunications industry.
Bilingual-Spanish/English highly desired.
Excellent selling, persuasive, and conflict resolutions skills.
Ability to demonstrate a high degree of patience.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
