Reporting to the Global Director of Opportunity Development and Inside Sales, the Opportunity Development manager is responsible for all aspects of the lead generation sales process. Duties include Management communications to the sales department, training and coaching reps, monitoring and reporting on metrics and managing the sales administration process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build & maintain a solid inside sales/lead generation team that exceeds its goals
- Ensure that pipeline remains full with qualified meetings, leads and prospects
- Monitor Employee productivity and motivate team to reach its goals
- Evaluate and improve inside sales and sales administration process
- Supervise the team in accordance with company policy and procedures
- Provide coaching and training for team
- Conduct Employee interviews, orientation and hire/fire staff
- Manage performance reviews and develop employee development plans
- Resolve interpersonal issues within the groups and escalate if necessary
- Ensure accurate reporting of metrics
- College or University degree (Business or related field) or equivalent
- 2 years' successful experience in managing a B2B inside sales or lead gen team
- Familiarity with lead process, sales process and sales methodologies
- Exceptional organizational, written and verbal communication Skills
- Highly energetic, motivated with the ability to maintain a positive, upbeat attitude
- Strong work ethic- lead by example
- Proficient in MS office and Salesforce.com
