Optical Engineer EyeNetra
EyeNetra's optical designs require a unique blend of opto-mechanical skills with enormous emphasis on the prototyping of disruptive systems. Last year we released 150 versions of our optical hardware for clinical testing. We expect to beat that record this year. As an Optical Engineer, you design, build, test and troubleshoot the technology that are at the heart of the worlds most disruptive eye diagnostics. Passion for optical precision using low-cost mass-scale parts is a must. Working very closely with the CTO, software, mechanical and electrical engineers, your goal is to ensure the maximum performance in our weekly clinical evaluations as well as describe the product specifications for the manufacturing of the devices.
Lead the optical development of next generation smartphone-based refractive devices.
Design and implement prototype and production-grade opto-mechanical designs.
Own the precision and optical quality tradeoff decisions and troubleshoot issues in the clinical testing.
Test and validate optical systems
Propose and build proof-of-concept prototypes
