Job Description:Principal Responsibilities include:
? Responsible for all aspects for introduction of new LED Lamp products from rapid prototyping in USA to transitioning to high volume manufacturing in Asia.
? Create BOMs, SOPs, Test Procedures, Test limits and communicate with contract manufacturers
? Provide weekly status on supplier schedule, progress and track against commitments.
? Manage local and offshore contract manufacturers in development and qualification of new processes and test equipment.
Experience and Skills:
Job Requirements:
? >5 Years Experience in on time execution of high volume products, preferably LED related
? Familiar with various aspects of color theory including test methods and optical test equipment such as goniometer and integrating sphere among others
? Data analysis and report generation skills in SQL databases and Jump
? Train contract manufacturing personnel in assembly and test procedures. Transfer knowledge and test equipment and optimize optical test processes through automation
? Excellent skills in generation of formal reports and presentation
? In depth Technical understanding of LED Lamp Parameters including lumens, color coordinates, CBCP, power, efficiency, etc.
? Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams including engineering and operations.
? Familiar with Assembly and test processes including die bonding, soldering, integrating sphere and automation of such processes etc.
? Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, entrepreneurial and highly innovative, can-do attitude, resourceful problem solver, comfortable in a fast-moving and highly dynamic environment
? Experience with Agile PDM/PLM a plus
