Optical Transmitter RF Test & Tuning Manufacturing Engineer Omneon, Inc.

Contractor/Temp position. Test and debug of QAM modules and other related return products.
Required Job Skills: Test and troubleshoot of QAM video modules.
Heavy experience with RF testing and tuning, preferrably with optical transmitter products.
Ability to test complex digital systems and subsystems using lab equipment such as voltmeters, power meters, network analyzers, oscilloscopes and computers.
Some ability to solder SMT components. Ability to use a microscope. Use of hand tools associated with electronic manufacturing.
Ability to understand and follow Quality policy and Test Instructions.
Previous experience with Harmonic's DV production process preferred.
Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
This is a day shift position with negotiable work hours, but beginning with 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM M-F.
Years of Direct Experience Required: 5-7 years related experience
Areas of Direct Experience: Manual and automated video test experience.
Educational Requirements: AA/AS technical degree preferred.
