Responsibilities:
The Oracle Developer is responsible for producing quality deliverables for a defined project. Technical responsibilities include technical design, development, documentation, debugging and analysis. The position requires good time management skills, attention to detail, good source code maintenance and implementation and adherence to standards and best practices. This individual must be an effective communicator, capable of providing direction and guidance to others, escalating issues and concerns to management, providing root cause analysis and problem resolution. The ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities is a must.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
? Design and develop technical solutions for a defined project
? Requirements elaboration and analysis
? Adhere to a structured development environment
? Create realistic estimates for a given work assignment
? Debugging and maintenance of existing code with limited documentation
? Integral participation in team meetings and collaborative efforts
? Seek and utilize support and coaching from others
? Offer support and coaching to others
Secondary Functions:
Stay abreast of the latest developments in application development and technologies
Consistent time tracking and entry
Status reporting and escalation of issues/concerns
Qualifications:
Required Experience
Overall technical experience ? 7 years
Oracle Applications 12i development ? 5 years
Oracle Financials (AR, AP,GL, PO, CE, INV)
Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development ? 5 years
Oracle Workflow ? 3 years
Oracle Applications APIs ? 3 years
Oracle Forms development/customization ? 3 years
Oracle Applications internal table structure ? 3 years
XML schema design/development, XSL transformations ? 2 years
BS Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Not Required, but considered a plus:
Web services development ? 2 years
Java (EJB) development ? 2 years
Consulting experience ? 2 years
Oracle Applications Framework personalization and extensibility ? 1 year
XML/BI publisher development ? 1 year
Oracle Applications modules (i-Expense, i-Procurement, or Projects)
Additional Requirements:
Understanding of either application or database performance optimization techniques
Demonstrated understanding of SDLC methodologies
Ability to act independently on medium complexity assignments
Ability to produce quality code on schedule
Ability to participate in Code Reviews and brainstorming activities
Ability to identify and solve problems of moderate to high complexity
Ability to work on multiple assignments concurrently while meeting aggressive deadlines
