Responsibilities:
As an Oracle Technical / Functional Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into reporting solutions. You will be working closely with key reporting super users on establishing an enterprise wide strategy for reporting, and collaborating with the Accounting team to roll out and maintain standards.
Candidate will work with the business users in understanding business reporting needs, gathering requirements and documenting requirements and functional specifications, develop test plans, and producing the end result.
The Oracle Reporting Analyst will also support functional configuration, implementation, and production activities for Oracle R12 application environment. 3-4 years of experience supporting Oracle Financials, FSGs, BI Publisher and Discoverer are required.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
Working knowledge of Oracle development tools and languages such as SQL or PL/SQL
Knowledge of financial modules such as AP (including Payments), GL , AR, CE and PO modules within Oracle EBS suite (R12 Financials), a Plus
Experienced in creating Financial Statement Generator (FSGs) and Discoverer Reports
Experienced in creating Discoverer Reports and maintaining its end user layer (EUL)
XML / BI Publisher experience
Skilled in creating database views.
Demonstrate excellent understanding of Oracle ERP application's architecture, data structures and functionality
Non-technical skills essential for this role:
Bachelor?s degree is highly desirable for this position
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are REQUIRED.
Willingness to help where needed, to be flexible with work assignments, and to understand and assist with the diversity of user requests.
Strong analytical, organizational and prioritizing abilities
Excellent customer service and problem solving skills are also required
Must be prompt, courteous and a good listener
