Description:
The Oracle ERP Business Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and executing Oracle EBS related projects. Candidates should have 5 years or more of functional and technical experience with Oracle applications, especially with manufacturing and financial modules. The individual in this role will work with business units across global offices to identify issues, analyze business requirements, deliver solutions, maintain and enhance Oracle EBS applications.
Responsibilities:
Provide functional and technical support for Oracle EBS applications
Serve as a liaison between business users and technical team, maintaining relationships with project sponsors, stakeholders, vendors, and Oracle users across global offices
Investigate issues reported by Oracle EBS users, perform root cause analysis, drive solutions, assist users to perform testing, and create functional design specification and migration documents
Identify and resolve gaps between business processes and Oracle EBS functionalities
Identify business process strengths and weaknesses, suggest areas of improvements, and provide detailed documentation
Assist with defining project tasks, determining deadlines, and developing project plans for achieving project objectives
Track Oracle EBS requests and issues, review issues with team members, deliver solutions, support and backup other functional and technical team members as necessary
Ensure Oracle change management procedures are followed and documented properly for all Oracle changes to meet SOX audit requirements
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in Oracle's EBS that includes working with the general ledger, accounts receivables, accounts payable, cash management, fixed assets, project accounting , install base and service contract modules
Ability to understand business processes, gather and document business requirements and test plans
Ability to troubleshoot Oracle EBS application related issues
Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience with waterfall and agile project methodologies
Experience troubleshooting Oracle Applications issues related to customizations and/or bugs
Experience with Oracle Applications Technology foundation, design and development using tools Oracle Forms, reports, XML Publisher, OBIEE, Oracle Database and SQL loader is preferred
Experience in implementation of Oracle EBS R12 is preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong hands-on configuration and technical skills
Experience:
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or related field
5+ years equivalent work experience.
