As an Oracle Database Administrator at Ntirety you should be well versed in database design practices from normalization through performance tuning and implementation. You will be responsible for completing the architectural design for database development through specification, design, development, QA testing, and product launch. Experience working under a Oracle 8i production environment. You should also have strong UNIX/And or NT experience. Experience with Oracle 9i and Java a plus.Education:
- BS/MS CS or proven equivalent curriculum
Requirements:
- Oracle DBA with minimum 5 years experience
- Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS in the NT and UNIX environment
- Database security and user account management
- Ability to Perform Database Audits
- Implementing backup and recovery processes
- Installation and configuration of Oracle database
- Prior experience in packaging/installation/upgrade of Oracle
- Knowledge of SQL and/or PLSQL
- Database/SQL Performance Tuning
- Team player with ability to multitask with minimal supervision and high reliability
- Strong drive to learn
- "Problem Solving" attitude
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Knowledge of the Applications a Plus
Desired:
- Understand of Precise Software tools
- Oracle 9i, Oracle 10G, RAC
- Understanding of Oracle replication.
