Oracle's PeopleSoft Developer Provade
Job DescriptionProvade is seeking a full-time Oracle's PeopleSoft Developer in East San Francisco Bay Area. The person hired will be a key player in the future strategy of Provade and its leadership as the premier Vendor Management System (VMS) solution.
This Developer?s role will deal specifically with the development and maintenance of new and existing features of Provade VMS.
A successful candidate should be able to work with functional business analysts, business process owners and other technical team members for a given requirement or process. This includes taking part of the design, soliciting feedback and documenting the information associated with any enhancement.
Further, the candidate should be capable of executing requirement and design specification into development deliverables.
Major Responsibilities
The planning, design, development, testing and deployment of enterprise application features to new and existing customers.
Collaborate with other technology team members, end users and stakeholders in the identifying of new features.
Ability to write maintainable application code which effectively and efficiently implements business requirements.
Work with fellow developers to provide on-time and complete features, documentation and peer training.
Participate in all phases of the Agile software development life cycle including technical analysis, design, development, testing, documentation and deployment.

Ability to interpret business requirements and develop unique technical solutions.

Excellent problem-solving, oral and written communication skills.
Requirements
2+ years of technical experience with Oracle Enterprise (PeopleSoft) 8.45 or above, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQL, Query and relational databases.
Experience with application classes and object-oriented programming concepts.
Familiarity with web architecture and PIA
Knowledge of SQL, PSQuery and relational databases
Strong analytical, technical and interpersonal skills.
Basic experience with UNIX.
BS in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience.
Desirable, technical experience with PeopleSoft Services Procurement.
Database tuning experience a plus.
Web Service technologies (WSDL, SOAP, XML) experience a plus.
