We are currently seeking an Order Fulfillment Manager
Job Summary:
This position is accountable to ensure manufacturing and test cells have appropriate production plans in place driven by customer requirements and aligned with demand, capacity and material availability. Establishes, manages, reviews and maintains production schedules to ensure that the master schedule is being executed. Will analyze work-load for effective capacity planning. Ensures completion of manufacturing to meet customer ship requirements.
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
?Review the schedule for upcoming production requirements.
?Develop the schedule of production to balance demand with capacity and ensure on-time customer delivery
?Adjust production schedules as needed based on part availability and customer demands.
?Set appropriate inventory levels (WIP & FGI) for manufacturing and test cells
?Ensure appropriate shop floor control systems/tools/techniques are in use in all cells.
?Daily analysis, planning, and review of cell capacity based on requirements loaded by sales/customer service
?Verify labor reporting accuracy. Pull resources from various levels to orchestrate resolution of root cause of any issues found.
?Expedite any needed manufactured or purchase parts, contacting purchasing as needed, to ensure availability in line with production schedules
?Adjust production schedules as needed based on part/material availability and customer demands.
?Develop and manage policies that meet customer demand and financial commitments to coordinate the scheduling of manufacturing to sales, production and materials.
?Accountable for production and shipping attainment, and inventory transactions
?Accountable for periodic audits and maintenance of Work-Orders.
?Review and implement changes to satisfy customer requirements.
?Identify and resolve system issues to maintain integrity of Supply Plans, Forecast and Sequencing Plans.
?Identify process breakdowns and develop corrective actions.
?To ensure that customer promise dates are established, products are built and stocked on time to achieve desired level of customer on-time deliveries statistics.
?Participates in daily backlog / ship plan meetings to maximize sales opportunities.
?Maintain production planning and scheduling integrity with a 95 % level of record accuracy.
?Implement and maintain production plans based on planning constraints and sequencing rules.
?Sequencing of supply orders to satisfy internal and external customer demand requirements.
?Assist planners and schedulers to set and control production sequencing priorities to provide highest level of customer satisfaction in meeting commitment dates.
?Maintain sales order backlog and finished goods inventory integrity with a 99 % level of record accuracy.
?Additional duties may include: Ensures that all sales order promised and scheduled ship dates are maintained internal to operating systems.
Qualifications for this role are:
?Bachelor?s degree in Operations Management or equivalent experience
?5 to 8 years experience in a supervisory or management capacity
?10 years experience in demand planning and inventory management
?Industrial/ manufacturing experience, lean deployment skill-sets, working knowledge of MRP, inventory management, Demand Flow Technology and Bills of Materials Current knowledge of configure-to-order products.
?Must have mechanical aptitude to understand the assembly process and build sequence.
?Maintain high level of transactional and system integrity.
?Solid written and verbal communication skills.
?APICS Certification
?Demonstrated proficiency with common computer applications (MS Office).
?Working knowledge of Oracle ERP Systems and proficient use of Microsoft Software and Applications.
?Ability to work in a team environment and desire for continuous learning and development.
?Ability to manage production planning, scheduling and sequencing functions for in-house manufacturing
?Identify and resolve customer, shipping and inventory management issues across operations.
