The Outbound Business Development Representative is responsible for generating and qualifying new sales leads for the outside sales team. This position requires someone who is confident, tenacious, highly organized, comfortable speaking in a warm and professional tone with prospective clients, and prepared to support a highly driven sales team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule qualified, sales ready leads for Account Representative and Sr. Account Representatives.
Make a minimum of 70 cold calls per day accompanied by templated emails.
Develop prospect lists of potential new customers.
Consistently log every sales related activity in Salesforce.com (CRM system).
Live and promote PeopleMatter values, brand, and mission.
All other duties as assigned.
College degree or equivalent experience
1 year of sales or cold calling / prospecting experience in a Sales role.? Minimum 2 years of telesales experience strongly preferred
Positive and professional demeanor
Excellent writing & verbal communication
Highly organized and strong time management skills
Ability to work in fast paced, changing environment with minimal direction
Ability to work with and support a motivated, highly driven sales team
