Job Overview
As an Outreach Specialist, you'll make initial and follow up contact with employees eligible for the RiseSmart program who have been affected by a reduction in force at their present employment. Our services are provided to the individuals you contact by their former employer. Join a collaborative team of Outreach Specialists, who are passionate about the services we provide because they make a difference in each individual's life.
Responsibilities:
Daily outgoing calls and emails to communicate with and invite eligible individuals to gain access to a broad range of RiseSmart services, resulting in registrations for the RiseSmart program
Scheduling of initial coaching calls between new registrants and job coaches
Utilization of specialized Transition Concierge software to track and record the progress of your efforts
Provide a brief overview of RiseSmart to eligible employees, helping them understand the value of the RiseSmart program their employer is offering to them
Requirements:
Regularly commit between 10 to 15 hours a week for outreach & administrative tasks within the Transition Concierge software
Quiet, professional space where calls can be made without interruption or background noise
Technical requirements include: Internet connection, phone line with ability to make long distance calls, and a home computer or laptop where administrative tasks can be performed
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook (entire Microsoft Office is a plus)
Strong communication skills including a pleasant speaking manner, excellent listening skills, and fluency in the English language (Spanish speaking is a plus)
Serve effectively in a role where you will be the very first contact someone will have with our company
