NameMedia Inc., the world?s premiere domain marketplace, has an excellent career opportunity for a motivated sales professional. The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for identifying and recruiting new clients for NameMedia?s products and services. Sales Executives are highly effective communicators and able to correspond with senior level executives at various types of businesses. While most of our outbound efforts are via phone, the Senior Sales Executive will have in-person meetings at conferences, events, and the home offices of prospective clients.
As a Sales Executive, your day will be composed of three primary activities. First is prospecting and engaging with firms that do not yet participate with NameMedia, Inc. Second is managing an active sales pipeline of concurrent conversations with prospective Members. Third is providing new Members with a smooth transition to our Account Management Team.
Close new business consistently at or above quota level
Operate efficiently within a fast-paced sales environment
Develop a passion for the domain industry
Build relationships with prospects and develop a channel of repeat clients to grow new business
Be a positive team player within the business; bring best in class thinking, strategies and ideas that align to our firm values, unique culture and vision for the future.
Minimum of 3 years of strategic sales experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and deliver powerful presentations
Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
Exceptional verbal and writing skills
Prior participation in a winning team environment
Bachelor?s Degree or higher
An individual who is focused on monthly/yearly goals and has a ?whatever it takes? attitude towards exceeding those goals
A high work ethic, energy, passion, sense of humor, compassion, enthusiasm and a record of success is an great fit to our environment
Superior communications skills, well rounded in all aspects of business development methodology with exceptional closing & relationship management skills
Strong skills within the following programs: MS Office Suite, Google Apps, and CRM applications such as SugarCRM or Salesforce.com.
