DescriptionWe are looking for a local outside sales representative with HVAC or building automation-related sales experience in the commercial and industrial sector. As a leading sales contributor, this position is responsible for customer research, prospecting, negotiating, and closing sales transactions for the company in the Tennessee region. The successful candidate is responsible for new customer acquisition, as well as retaining high customer relationships with existing clients.
Required Qualifications:
Successful candidate will show a bias to action and is amongst the highest sales contributors in their previous sales work experience in new territory/sales development
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of HVAC or building automation-related sales experience in the commercial and industrial sector, as well as experience with energy efficiency and demand response programs
Must be a self-starter, highly motivated individual to succeed in a team environment
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, leadership skills, organization skills, negotiation skills, and the ability to work well in a start-up company
Knowledge of the Internet, social sites and proficiency in office applications is a must
Should have access to a vehicle for prospecting and off-site customer meetings
