Job Description:The Packaging Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the Lifecore 2nd shift packaging operations. Responsibilities include packaging personnel supervision, defining packaging processes, coordinating production activities, monitoring packaging equipment, and assisting with development/management of the Packaging budget. The Packaging Supervisor must interpret and comply with regulatory requirements. They will actively seek ways to improve quality and reduce potential for in-process errors, continually evaluate ways to streamline and increase cost effectiveness, and lead/coordinate projects within the packaging department.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years experience supervising manufacturing personnel in a medical device or equivalent regulated industry. Manufacturing process procedure development and packaging process improvement experience in the medical device or equivalent regulated industry. Production floor inventory control experience. Production floor use of electronic MRP systems. Operation of label applicators, sealers, or other packaging equipment preferred.
