PANEL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER uSamp
The Panel Development Manager is responsible for the management and growth of key online publishers and affiliate relationships as well as implementation of private label panel builds from inception to launch. He/she will consult with partners to ensure cost-effective relationships, ensure pristine data quality, and manage the internal development cycle and budget as efficiently as possible. The Panel Development manager will work closely with our Business Development, Technology, Social Media and Panel Operations teams to seamlessly implement all private label panel builds. This position requires strong project management skills, a meticulous nature and a proactive attitude.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Proactively explore new avenues for opportunity and implement innovative solutions to expand partner relationships (i.e., self-serve model).
Manage and drive strong online affiliate and publisher relationships to ensure uSamp is optimizing all key and high-potential partner relationships.
Discover the needs and values of partners through regular communication and negotiation.
Manage the panel build process with all parties involved internally and externally to ensure a flawless execution from point of contact through billing.
Identify opportunities with partners and execute plans that help maximize the success of product offers.
Utilize tools and data in order to support future business development initiatives.
Develop and maintain necessary technical knowledge to be the clients? point of contact for troubleshooting.
Work with members of the operations team to identify and advance any opportunities to improve performance of panel builds.
Be the internal owner of all assigned panel build projects and be fully informed and able to provide information when required, to include metrics, objectives and status.
Ensure panel goals are met via the management of partners and internal resources.
Effectively communicate with partners to ensure data quality expectations and needs.
Work closely with the Business Development, Technology, and Design teams to manage all initial project requirements related to each new partner.
Obtain and execute all deliverables required for successful implementation of new partnerships and solutions.
Analyze performance related to audience participation, conversion rates, revenue, etc.
Recommend and effectuate any necessary plans for improvement of partner and panel performance.
Prior experience working with sample providers, market research firms and/or advertising networks.
Working knowledge of APIs, link management, e-mail marketing, advertising campaigns, co-registration.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Start-up experience and ability to adapt to a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Understanding of basic marketing principles and social media engagement.
Service oriented personality with proven customer relationship and service skills.
2-5 years of successful account management experience for an online publisher, affiliate, or SAAS based companies.
Technical familiarly with iframes a plus.
Familiar with key online advertising and web metrics for measuring campaign success.
Enthusiastic, committed, proactive and resourceful; can be counted on to get the job done.
Able to work autonomously as well as being a good team player.
Strong time management and organizational skills to maintain own work flow and meet deadlines.
