Responsible for supporting our sales and operational success by overseeing contract and legal document review. Serve as a critical internal liaison for the executive and outside sales teams regarding document creation or amendment for potential sales, CRM management and reporting.
?Act as the key owner of contract review and analysis related to the purchase or sale of products and services for all divisions of Talyst.
?Review contracts and legal documents such as requests for proposal, business associate agreements, vendor agreements, supplier agreements, reseller agreements, support agreements, statements of work.
?Negotiate contracts for purchase or sale of equipment, materials, products or services in accordance with Company policies and legal requirements.
?Regularly evaluate or monitor contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts and ensure compliance to existing contractual obligations.
?Work closely with product teams to understand product, software and service offerings of our Company.
?Partner with outside counsel, insurance broker and contract specialists as needed.
?Support the Sales team with customer problem resolution tied to proposals and potential contracts.
?Own the creation and regular updates of contract modification documents to summarize all non-standard terms and routing through internal approval processes.
?Regularly research laws and regulations related to individual customer and potential customer requests.
?Serve as back-up for Sales Operations Assistant in the preparation and tracking of proposals as requested by outside sales teams.
?Accurately calculate, prepare and partner with Accounting on gross margin analysis and further product pricing for possible discounts.
?Oversee the accuracy and automation use of SalesForce tools to ensure timely, relevant, accurate reporting of sales activity.
?Serve as a back-up on contract generation for 340B Fully Managed and Desktop products.
?As needed, assist the General Manager's/VP's of Sales with data for corporate events, meetings.
?Support and promote the Company values through positive interactions with both internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.
?Attend to other initiatives and goals as assigned.
?5+ years' experience or background working as a paralegal/legal assistant negotiating and managing contracts and the contracting process.
?Proficient in the reviewing and editing of contracts and RFP's.
?Strong organizational skills required.
?Understanding of sales and workflow processes.
?Aggressive/timely follow-up and follow-through.
?Self-directed and results-oriented.
?Ability to cope with interruptions, prioritize and work on many tasks simultaneously.
?Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot customer issues.
?Demonstrated ability to solve routine to moderately complex problems.
?Proven ability to learn new systems and workflow quickly.
?Intermediate to advance computer skills with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
?Knowledge of SalesForce.com features and reporting.
?Excellent customer service skills, written and oral communications skills and an ability to interface both externally with customers and inter-departmentally.
?Willingness to assist with a variety of tasks.
?Experience working in a goal oriented, delivery focused, and dynamic environment.
