Position Overview:
The Accounting Clerk provides general support with accounts payable and is a member of the Finance Team. This role will perform various general accounting functions such as accounts payable, coding, tracking, data entry etc.
This positions reports directly to the Staff Accountant.
Responsibilities:
?Assist with coding and tracking invoices
?Investigate Accounts Payable inquiries and correspond with vendors
?Maintain and update various spreadsheets
?Maintain accounting files, including filing of accounts payable documentation and other miscellaneous filings
?Assist with other General Accounting tasks
?Assist with additional projects as needed
Requirements:
?One year of Accounting course work or relevant experience
?Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Advanced MS Excel Skills Preferred)
?Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
?Effective communication skills
