Accounting Resources has highly trained and experienced Accountants and CPA's that are available to assist businesses with internal or external audit reviews, payroll, tax issues, financial reporting, and all your bookkeeping services. We are able to provide services for all levels of businesses, from start-ups to mature corporations. Services may be performed virtual, our office, or on site including Recruiting and Project Resources.
ARUSA is seeking the following candidate: someone with 8+ years? experience with a public private mix, preferably with Construction, Retail, Non-Profit, and Technology. Also need experience managing (will oversee a staff of 1 and growing) with strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting under GAAP.
Maintain accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Manage the accounting team, including the establishment of operational objectives and assignments.
Support all aspects of accounting, including Invoicing, Collections, and Cash Receipts, and Payroll.
Manage monthly accounting close efforts including the preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare and Review Federal and State Taxes.
Implement and administer internal control policies, procedures and processes for accounting.
Lead the communication with Clients and Practice Manager.
Support ad hoc projects.
Develop training and development opportunities for the accounting team.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to be flexible and effective in a fast-paced, frequently changing work environment while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work well with company staff and Finance Department team members.
Ability to quickly evaluate and resolve problems independently.
Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to prioritize and track tasks to completion in a timely way.
Ability to process and enter data quickly and accurately.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
8+ years of Progressive Accounting Experience
2+ years of supervising staff
