About the Role: Part-Time Comment Moderator
Our community team handles the moderation of approximately 4 million comments a month. The Huffington Post is on the leading edge of community moderation and management and we are looking for up to four entry level moderators to join our team, preferably in NYC. This is a bilingual position which will involve moderating in French. French moderators must be fluent in both English and French.
If you can read quickly, make quick, impartial, decisions and want a foot in the door in community management or online media then this is a perfect job. This role will require 24 hours a week.
-Focused speed reading in French and English - our moderators read the equivalent of Moby Dick 18 times a month.
-Combine community and machine based moderation
-Experience moderating blog or forum based communities a plus
-Must be able to work on weekends and weekdays anywhere from 6am to 12am EST depending on needs of team.
-Must be fluent in French and English
