LivingSocial has launched a first-of-its-kind venue for local experiences, an innovative space where people will come to discover the very best of Washington DC. 918 F St is unlike any other venue or retail space in the world. We?re creating a space where our guests fully participate in amazing experiences. In order to create the best customer experience, we?re looking for a Part Time Event Coordinator to serve on the front line and help guide customers throughout the venue. If you really dig providing great customer service to our members, this is your chance to take it to another level by providing in-person customer service.
Responsibilities
? Greet and direct customers to their scheduled classes
? Check-in customer vouchers at various events
? Answer inbound calls
? Maintain retail space
? Process payments
? Schedule classes
? Provide building tours
? Work directly with merchants, operators and key partners
? Engage, educate, and support our customers
? Help resolve customer complaints
? Build strong consumer relationships and promote positive brand identity and awareness
Qualifications
? Four-year Bachelor's degree mandatory
? Experience in consumer-facing, customer service roles
? Event planning experience desired
? Passion for creating fun events and experiences
? Outstanding communication skills and great professional presence
? Proven track record of excelling in fast-paced, dynamic environments
? An absurd attention to detail
? Preferably 2+ years of professional experience
? Demonstrated social leadership in various facets of life
? Ability to be "on" for a full day or weekend
? Flexibility ? ability to help with an adult cooking class and then quickly transition to assisting a kids painting class
? Outstanding problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
? Familiarity with browser-based tools
? Great knowledge of the city, coupled with an excellent network within the city (Candidate must have lived/worked in the local market for at least 1 year)
? Must be available for 15-30 hours per week and flexible for night/weekend shifts as needed
