Essential Job Description:
This Product Sales Specialist for the Line 6 brand represents innovation, creativity, and authenticity. This position is also responsible for demonstrating Line 6 products by providing information, education and inspiration in the form of daily on-site demos to end users, training of dealers and internal sales staff, as well as attending and presenting at events and tradeshows. Product Sales Specialists will be required to drive sell-through on the store level and will be expected to meet sales goals set out by management.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
Creating and maintaining relationships with sales associates and customers
Driving sell-thru on the store level.
Weekly visits and trainings with Line 6 dealers in Pro Audio as well as Guitar departments
Impromptu live demonstrations of Line 6 products
Submitting store reports upon every store visit to relay information from their region.
Maintenance of in-store marketing materials
Maintenance of guitar/amp demo stations
Experience/Qualifications:
Strong live sound background including working knowledge of live sound industry and products
Strong guitar playing skills, including fluency in rock (any style) and blues, and competency in at least one additional musical style
Working knowledge of computer-based recording; knowledge of Propellerhead Reason software a plus
Skills Required:
Strong organizational skills and self motivation
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Local travel is required and might be requested to periodically travel in the domestic US.
Professional, outgoing personality that will allow them to interact and network with sales associates and customers on an ongoing basis; ability to assist customers with purchase decisions
Disciplined work ethic, including regular reporting and feedback with management
Authentic, great communication that inspires people to play, make and record music
Fluency in the vocabulary and history of guitars, amps, and pedals
Knowledge of current trends in the guitar/amp/accessories market
Familiarity with Line 6 products and their use in personal and professional environments
