Job Description:Nationally recognized personal finance website is looking for a part-time reporter.
This entry-level position's primary focus will be maintaining, analyzing and reporting on various types of personal finance data. It requires some Journalism experience -- in the classroom and/or in the newsroom -- and a keen attention to detail.
Other duties might include writing news briefs, basic copy editing and more, depending on the strengths of the individual candidate.
Knowledge of AP style and basic HTML and/or CSS are a must. Experience with maintaining databases a big plus. (And we're talking about inputting and analyzing data, not coding and building them from scratch. This is a reporter position, not a developer position.) Knowledge about personal finance and SEO would be a plus, as well.
