About the Role:
WhaleShark Media is looking for a Partner Accounts Manager to manage and grow our relationship with the major Affiliate Networks and our advertising partners. This role will primarily focus on our relationship with Commission Junction but work on other partnerships as needed.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage Network and advertising partner relationships achieving revenue targets for assigned accounts.
Develop and deliver client ready presentations.
Identify and develop new advertiser relationships and optimize existing relationships by negotiating better commission rates, program terms and consumer offers.
Represent WhaleShark Media at industry events.
Work closely with Operations and Online Marketing teams to optimize advertiser performance on WhaleShark Media sites.
Requirements:
Has a bachelor's degree in business, advertising, or liberal arts or communications from a four-year college or university.
5+ years' experience in business development client or partner management.
Strong knowledge of and experience in online advertising or B2C e-commerce industry and technology. Affiliate Marketing experience a plus.
Track record of building, growing and retaining productive client/partner relationships. Salesforce experience a plus.
Ability to develop and execute account plans that will achieve revenue targets
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to develop and deliver client ready presentations. Strong persuasive communication skills.
Self motivated and enjoys working in a fast paced and results driven environment.
