About the Role:
WhaleShark Media is looking for an Partner Development Manager to identify and secure new advertising relationships with both large and small merchant prospects.
Prospecting for new business relationships. Conducting market research and evaluating advertiser selection criteria to identify potential new partnerships.
Estimating potential financial impact of new advertising opportunities. Summarizing and presenting benefits of strategic partnership to prospects.
Managing complete sales cycle process from identifying to closing new advertiser relationships. Maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
Identifying alternative and creative ways to monetize traffic for advertisers who don't have affiliate programs.
Achieving new advertiser acquisition and revenue targets.
Has 5+ years experience in online media sales or business development with a bachelor's degree.
Strong knowledge of and experience in online advertising.
Experience growing customer base and revenue through customer acquisition.
Confirmed and proven track record of building a strong sales pipeline. Knowledge of Salesforce a plus.
Ability to develop and execute business development plans that will achieve revenue and traffic targets through new advertising relationships.
Strong persuasive communication skills. Ability to develop and deliver client ready presentations.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Self motivated and enjoys working in a fast paced and results driven environment.
