Partner Manager - Microsoft Ramp

The Partner Manager for Microsoft at RAMP, reporting to the General Manager of Enterprise Solutions, will be responsible for developing and managing RAMP?s business relationship with Microsoft and the business opportunities derived from this relationship. This person will play a critical role in defining and driving RAMP?s Enterprise eco-system strategy and requires experience and a proven track record of working with Microsoft enterprise products and programs.
The position requires deep working knowledge of the enterprise software and services business and at least 3 years of experience working closely with Microsoft?s sales, service, and partner organizations ? either as an employee or as a Microsoft partner. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communications skills, strong business acumen, and the ability create and execute a strategic channel development plan.
Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of this role include:
Development and management of RAMP?s formal business relationship with Microsoft, including the Microsoft Partner Program and the Microsoft MarketPlaces (Office, Azure, ?)
Direct revenue development through engagement with Microsoft business units relevant to RAMP (e.g. for Azure, SharePoint, XBOX,?)
Indirect revenue development through engagement with Microsoft partners (e.g. System Integrators and ISV)
Development and management of formal and informal relationships with Microsoft employees and business groups in support of RAMP?s product development efforts.
The key activities of this role include:
Coordinating joint marketing events with the Microsoft field.
Developing Microsoft-specific marketing collateral (with RAMP Marketing)
Managing RAMP?s formal business contracts with Microsoft.
Managing RAMP?s participation in formal Microsoft partner and business development programs.
Securing and managing Microsoft partner support funding and resources (e.g. SIP, BIF, tech support, ?)
Requirements:
Minimum BSc in Computer Science or similar engineer discipline.
BA in Business or equivalent job experience.
Minimum of 3 years working directly with Microsoft as an employee, ?v-dash? contractor, MVP, or other similar deeply entrenched role.
Deep working knowledge of Microsoft partner programs and processes and Microsoft employee incentive plans.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
