The Partner Manager is an exciting role requiring a multi-talented individual. The role will require managing sales, marketing, and technical aspects of strategic partner relationship. The role will report to the Senior Director of Solutions Consulting.
You will be responsible for driving sales through strategic partner relationships. You will work closely with our sales, marketing, engineering, and professional services team to enable our strategic partners to add value to Carrier IQ solution and resell it. You will be responsible for the ongoing delivery of Carrier IQ solution to strategic partners.
You will also engage with current partners and prospects to identify and capture their detailed technical requirements, and map this to Carrier IQ?s solutions so that it maximizes the value of Carrier IQ?s offering. You will play a key role in forming new strategic partnerships.
In addition, you will use your extensive knowledge of the mobile industry and technical skills to provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering functions.
A confident, organized, self motivating and personable individual, you will be entirely at home in giving customer presentations, demonstrating software products and engaging in detailed technical discussions with prospects.
You will have considerable autonomy within the role and must be able to work effectively with your counterparts to deliver the right solution for the partner. Candidates must have a deep knowledge of the mobile wireless industry and be able to talk knowledgably about broad industry issues and topics.
Candidates must be comfortable working within a small and dynamic team.
Manage the program management, solution delivery, sales and marketing aspects of the strategic partner relationship including:
Drive revenue through strategic partner contracts
Develop and implement joint solution offering and marketing collateral that provide partners ability to resell Carrier IQ solution
Manage requirements and ensure delivery of Carrier IQ solution to strategic partners
Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to end customers of partner relationship
Develop go to market strategy and facilitate new partnering efforts
Draft technical trial/commercial proposals for new partners
Work with current and target partners to understand current offerings, gather new requirements and map to Carrier IQ solution
Project Manage/Run ? demos, trials and proof of concepts
Provide real world feedback to the Product Management and Development/Engineering functions
5-8+ years experience in technical sales support, business development or partnership management roles in wireless industry
Bachelor degree required. Technical degree, MBA or similar highly desirable
Knowledge of Mobile Device Management, Customer Experience Management, and Service Assurance for the wireless industry is a must
Good understanding of wireless ecosystem and ability to talk knowledgably on topics of current interest
Strong demonstrated expertise in creating, executing on, and driving solutions selling for wireless industry in the context of major partnerships
Proven ability to take action on go to market approaches, marketing programs, joint value propositions, and business cases around strategic partnerships
Ability to interact professionally and knowledgably with customers and partners
Cross-functional influence, relationship building, and project management skills toward a broad constituency ranging from customers, channel partners, sales, marketing, and technical management
Self-starter and completer-finisher, able to be relied on to deliver excellent quality on time. Be able to seize the initiative. Resourceful with a sense of urgency & ownership This is a start up environment so a can-do attitude and willingness to do what needs to be done is essential
