Partner Marketing Manager Skybox Security

Skybox Security is looking for a Partner Marketing Manager who will be responsible for planning and execution of channel and technology partner programs. The Partner Marketing Manager must have expertise in developing productive partner relationships through marketing communications, lead generation programs, sales training, and incentive programs.
The Partner Marketing Manager will be responsible for quarterly planning and execution of partner marketing programs, including selecting events and managing lead generation and partner development events to meet company objectives. Daily marketing activities will include communicating with partners, creating new and repurposed marketing materials for partner use, developing training materials, implementing partner incentive and promotional programs.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and relationship management skills, and will excel at combining Marketing, Channel Development and Business Development objectives into one cohesive plan. The Partner Marketing Manager will be a key contributor to overall go-to-market strategic planning, recommending programs to increase marketing effectiveness through partners.
This position reports to the VP of Worldwide Marketing, and is located at the Skybox Security headquarters office in San Jose, CA.
5+ years of experience in marketing
At least 3 years in a channel/partner marketing or channel/partner management position
Experience in the computer security, networking, or enterprise software market
Experienced with VARs, Systems Integrators, service providers, and other channel partners for IT security or networking products
Excellent written communication and presentation skills
Personable, professional, and friendly. Able to build new partner contacts and develop into effective working relationships.
Ability to travel 20% (primarily domestic)
Proven ability to create effective content and manage production for a variety of media forms ? print, online, video, presentation
Experienced with salesforce.com, Marketo
Experienced in planning, organizing, and executing tradeshows, customer and partner events, sales training sessions and webcasts
Track record of successfully managing multiple concurrent projects and consistently delivering on time
Ability to work independently and with a group
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
