Turn is seeking an experienced Partner Operations Manager who has a deep passion for the digital advertising space and Partner Management. We are looking for a highly motivated, driven, and detailed-oriented individual with a high technical aptitude and background to play a critical role in our overall, growing success. Primary responsibility is to ensure the successful onboarding and ongoing relationship management of partnerships across inventory, data, and content. Additional key functions will include taking lead on multiple assigned projects to improve operational excellence and partner experience, and serving as subject matter expert to both internal and external clients on everything Partner related.
Ideally, this candidate will have had demonstrated success with managing large partners in an online advertising industry and handling all day to day operations tasks. Individual will possess strong analytical, technical aptitude, and effective writing skills. The right candidate will be exceptionally organized and strong desire to excel, be self sufficient with solid communication skills and the ability to work on multiple ongoing projects with rapidly altering priorities and tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
Responsible for leading complicated campaign, ad serving, inventory, content, and reporting issue troubleshooting from internal escalations and self service clients.
Maintain a deep, understanding of technical solutions, products and positioning offered by Turn in addition to up-to-date, cutting-edge knowledge of proposal tools, trends, benchmarks, and applications.
Analyze performance data to investigate hypotheses and to identify meaningful patterns in large, multi-dimensional datasets.
Responsible for results interpretation and suggested actions to improve performance.
Package actionable performance insights and optimization best-practices for successful programs.
Become an expert on the use and best practices for the Turn Platform, and offer insights on how to improve campaign effectiveness through deep use of the functionality.
Work with Business Development, Product Management and other cross-functional teams to help define features and enhancements to improve the platform.
Educate and train Client Services on how to leverage the Turn platform plus appropriate 3rd party vendor data and tools with a goal of producing effective performance-based programs.
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or equivalent is required.
3+ years experience and proven track record of delivering exceptional ROI on complex display campaigns and the drivers of pricing and optimization across the major ad exchanges is crucial.
Expertise in working with RTB, ad exchanges, aggregators, ad servers, and other optimization platforms.
Hands on experience in technologies used to support online advertising operations such as ad serving, audience management tools, inventory applications, HTML, Flash, and third-party ad tags.
Preferred experience with rich media, mobile, video and pre-roll campaigns as well as data and content targeting.
Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions based on data.
Ability to investigate, analyze & solve problems, and clearly communicate results.
Solid experience in Excel including pivot tables, chart-making, and manipulation of large data sets.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, ideally comfortable in a consultative, client-facing environment.
Interest in media, technologies and desire to keep informed of new trends.
Eagerness to get hands-on to figure out how things work.
Experience with statistics and related analysis methodologies.
