Based in Foster City, CA, you will develop and drive the overall strategic relationship for all activities associated with the named partner accounts and all associated channels of distribution. These partners are large financial institutions.
This position is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and management of named partners, as well as the identification of new opportunities for growth and extension of the Rearden Commerce solution.
This role shall also require the ability to rapidly establish cooperative relationships within Rearden Commerce, e.g.: Product Management, Sales Ops, Direct Sales, Partner Engineering and Marketing with accountability for commitments made and objectives set with these and/or other internal audiences and organizations.
You will need to establish and maintain relationships with all decision makers, influencers and sales makers within their named partners and the sales channels that Rearden Commerce can, should and is doing business with. Responsibilities may/will include:
Develop, deploy and manage a Partner Sales Plan, one that outlines and drives product adoption and utilization, with a focus on revenue and market share.
Implement and ensure compliance of Rearden Commerce products and messaging, which includes but is not limited to marketing, training, and sales enablement.
Establish a sales engagement model that minimizes channel conflict, while ensuring partners and their respective go-to-market channels are motivated and focused on defined and committed sales objectives.
Gain alignment with partner's sales processes, goals and objectives, to ensure Rearden Commerce is perceived as a strategic partner.
Lead and direct the work of a cross functional team; holding team and individuals accountable for results.
Manage allocated resources to meet committed objectives and produce optimum bottom-line results.
Skills and Competency Requirements
Demonstrated ability to establish, forecast, and gain partner commitment to achieve stated sales goals and objectives.
Proven successful collaboration w/internal-external constituents resulting in successful partner and channel launch, sustaining sales execution and predictable sales results.
Proven success in cultivating strong, long-lasting, partner relationships.
Ability to balance a strategic approach with rapid tactical execution.
Adept at interpreting and communicating company vision, business opportunities, and detailed program objectives both externally and internally, and guiding efforts to maximize results.
Possesses the ability to grasp partner's business objectives and is able to align those needs with those of Rearden Commerce.
Proactively addresses problems and identifies opportunities; possesses the desire and willingness to push toward achieving a desired goal or end-state without suggestions or prompting from others.
Provides direction and accountability to the team and as needed, assesses and coaches to ensure objectives are met and results are achieved.
Adept in presentation, listening, written and oral communication.
Ability to negotiate and work on legal contracts.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 10+ years of strategic alliance/partner management/account management/channel experience in/with large financial services institutions.
Indirect sales experience specifically in enterprise solution selling to FSI, Telco or other service-related verticals.
High-level proficiency in the use of the MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
Travel or Other Requirements
Opportunity for significant travel within the United States (primarily NYC/DE) each month (~50% travel).
