Position Summary:As part of the LightEdge Solutions team, the partner relationship manager will manage the relations with one or more manufacturers (Cisco, EMC, VMware?) and distribution partners. She/he will be responsible for the performance and relationship management of each of the manufacturer?s and distribution partners. She/he will work closely with LightEdge Sales, Consulting and Finance on the content of BOM?s to ensure their timely process flow and financial accuracy. The vendor relationship manager will be a thought leader focusing on continuous process improvement. He/she will contribute to the development of metrics to track success both internally and externally. A successful candidate will be one that is energetic, enthusiastic in dealing with both internal and external partners and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will report to the Vice President of Sales and work closely with the sales team.
Responsibilities:
Manage contractual and business relationship with assigned partners
Report on the status of contract management on an ongoing basis
Develop and maintain working relationships across lines of business and with Sales, Consulting, Finance and Legal teams as required
Develop consolidated reporting for vendor activities, cost of services and overall performance
Identify, create and implement ideas to improve partner ROI
Align existing and facilitate the creation of new processes when necessary
Ability to complete high quality deliverables in time sensitive situations
Develop and improve repeatable processes for vendor management
Requirements:
3-5 years prior work experience with vendor management required
Work independently and multi-task effectively in a very diverse, project oriented environment
Preferred skills:
Detail oriented, with ability to lead others
Previous experience in the VAR business is a plus
Proven skills in financial calculation and budgeting
