The Partnership Strategy team oversees and nurtures all of the relationships with our institutional and faculty partners, collaborating with our partners to 1) align institutional and Coursera objectives around shared mission, and 2) design and deliver high-quality courses that push the boundaries of pedagogical innovation. We are a team that understands the ecosystems in which our partners operate and can strategically position our partners for success through Coursera. Partnership Managers have deep familiarity with our product and organization, our partners? structure and mission, and the landscape in which we operate.
As part of the team, you will manage a portfolio of universities and other institutions, working closely with them to build trusting relationships, proactively understanding their context and concerns, and help them to achieve their goals through Coursera. Your work will demand that you can interface with a range of stakeholders from senior-level leadership to instructors and program managers. Central to your work is the ability to demonstrate and ensure Coursera?s value to the institution, while shaping a strategy for the partnership that drives long-term engagement. With us, you will wear many hats and effectively channel the voice of our partners into the larger work and direction of our organization.

You will be responsible for:
Building strong relationships with key contacts at all level of the institution to drive strategic engagement and exceptional communication
Ensuring that institutions and their relevant contacts have appropriate knowledge and context of our platform, policies, and programs
Maximizing communication channels to strengthen dialogue, access, and partnership toward shared success between the institution and Coursera
Taking a data-driven approach to improve all aspects of our work, from supporting individual partners to addressing cross-partner needs to contributing to Coursera?s product and direction as a representative of partnership relationships
?and everything else that we need to do in order to make our partnerships successful, from planning events to improving systems to ensuring exceptional collaboration among internal teams to doing whatever it takes to solve problems
Ideal candidates will have:
A passion for our mission, aligning stakeholders, and achieving ambitious goals to bring high-quality content to learners around the world
A deep understanding of - or desire to learn about - university culture and teaching
Strong communication, facilitation, and informal influencing skills, including the ability to build relationships with senior level leaders and day-to-day contacts
Strategic thinking and the ability to design and execute high-leverage action plans
Excellent communications both written and verbal
An innovative and analytical approach to problem solving
Incredible perseverance and drive, manifested in a strong work ethic and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever needs to be done
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and to radiate positivity even while under pressure.
5+ years of experience
Proficiency in a foreign language, experience working outside the U.S., or context for the higher education landscape in particular geographic regions (not required)
