QD Vision is looking for an exceptionally talented Patent Attorney or Patent Agent with 3 to 7 years patent preparation and prosecution experience to join our team.Responsibilities
Preparing and prosecuting patent applications, assisting with management of the Company?s intellectual property portfolio, and providing support for other intellectual property matters, including, for example, evaluation of third party patents, review of draft manuscripts for intellectual property considerations, patent searching and analysis, and other projects. This position reports to the IP Counsel and will work closely with IP Counsel in supporting the intellectual property function of the Company.
Education/Experience
Candidates should have from 3 to 7 years of solid experience in drafting and prosecuting chemistry-related patent applications (US and foreign), including electronic filing, possess strong writing/analytical skills, superior academic credentials, the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with rapidly changing priorities, outstanding organizational and communication skills and attention to detail, and a technical background in chemistry or a related field. An advanced technical degree is desirable. Candidates must be registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Attorney candidates must also be admitted to practice before a State Bar, preferably Massachusetts.
